1. Dear Janet,

So often the truth speaks from the deep, reveals what is, and then we drown it. And continue struggling. Cassandra perhaps? I don’t know, and can’t, but your words went out from your world for a reason, and entered my world at a very interesting moment in time.

    Keep swimming. Keep writing.

    I will, too.

Hi Doug, it’s taken me a while to respond to your comment because it got me doing some thinking. These words obviously wanted to come out and now I’d like to figure out where they came from, helping me grow as a writer. Thanks for your comment and i’m glad that my words were able to touch you too.

  2. Ah, yes, who among us hasn’t experienced this?…

You’re probably right even though we’d like to deny it.

      • Just send me an email, Janet, if you’d like me to send you a signed copy of my book when the paperback comes out, since you were one of my first seven reviewers. 🙂

Thanks Susie. Sometimes i worry I take a metaphor too far. Glad you liked it.

  3. I love the way you can get to the core of a relationship is a few lines. Good story!
